First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course




The ARC First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course provides Instructor Candidates with the knowledge and training necessary to use the ARC course tools available to conduct a thorough lesson and skill set to prepare students to pass the final assessment test.
The course provides essential training to instructor candidates on public speaking and presenting course materials. The course teaches how to conduct training skills sessions to assist students to hone their skills and ensure that they can perform the steps of each activity to meet the requirements of each skill. Instructor candidates are then given the skills necessary to conduct the final assessments for each lesson. Using their critical eye, they can evaluate multiple students and identify areas that meet or do not meet the requirements and provide feedback for the students to be successful. This course is provided in a Blended training session. The online portion is required and must be completed prior to the Instructor-Led training session.
All Instructor Candidates must possess the require prerequisite credentials to sign up for the class. They must also pass an assessment to demonstrate that they have acquired mastery level experience to be able to perform all skills at the instructor level at the beginning of the class to continue with the course.
The course general takes an average of 5.5 to 7 hours to complete depending upon the number of students in each class. This class has a maximum enrollment per class of 9 students.

First Aid/CPR/AED
These courses are designed to provide immediate response training to staff and employees when a life threatening emergency or injury occurs.
The course provides CPR training to conduct proper compression to the chest to keep blood pumping through the body and appropriate breathes to keep oxygen flowing through the blood stream.
This course includes applying an AED and proper operation and basic first aid standards through what to do for life threatening bleeding.
This course meets all requirements for child care providers, manufacturing, OSHA standards for trained personnel, and other requirements to ensure your organization is ready during an emergency.
